Nearest Immigration To Bangplee

Featured Replies

Can anybody tell me where is the nearest immigration office to Bangplee? I have to go report that my passport was in an embassy I could not get to until this afternoon and I am on overstay. Thanks.

For bangkok there is only 1 you can use.

Is Bangplee in Bangkok or Samutprakarn?

I don't know how strict they are on going to the right one...

I'm pretty sure it is Samut Prakan as my old address in Bang Plee came under Samut Prakan.

There are immigration offices in Samut Prakan. Take Sukhumvit Road into Samut Prakan until you see the municipal offices in front of you. You can walk through the large car park at the front and when you get to the water bear right and follow the sea wall and you will come to the immigration offices.

I wasn't sure, so gave the link to all offices in Thailand in case Bang Plee is not a district in Bangkok.

Thank you. One more question...my passport was locked in the VN embassy until yesterday afternoon after being submitted on 13 May for a VN visa. Due to the protests, I could not retrieve it until yesterday afternoon. So, I am past my Thai visa date of 17 May. Is there anything I must do to avoid the penalty fee? I am departing tomorrow 26 May.

I'm afraid that immigration issued a statement that says that they only waive the fine if you went to immigration yesterday.

I expect you to to have to pay a 500 baht per day overstay fine.
