According to several newspapers, one of the factors that tipped Derrick Bird over the top was being cheated by a Thai woman.

Wonder which Pattaya bar she was from???

Interesting, I'm sure all the facts will be examined over and over again in the media.

My Condolences to all involved this is a tragic result

wishing a speedy recovery to the injured

Its Possible the scales were finally tipped over being financial crippled by his Thai lover (GF)

I am sure this wouldn't make a difference to any future scams the killings were in the wrong country to have a direct affect

I am sure a crazy farang reaction like this in Thai would deter a few scams (if a true account)

a very sad occasion

Not now it isn't, speculation here as well. ^^

One line in the 'Sun' and it is because of a guy stung by a Thai.

Hopelessly hype and pathetic.

Bitter family feud, a solicitor, a row over fares, maybe even queue jumping, former bosses and now owing a Thai money.

Talk about spread betting.

Why don't we leave it until something concrete is established, or not

Someone better check the TV membership rolls.

My first thought is..."yup, Luvulongtime strikes again," but seeing that he owed money brings the question "did he invest in a business in Thailand that took a crap?" Whatever it was, I hope that at least 1 person that is suceptable to being a financial victim in LOS, will see how it can put a man over the edge and therefore be more cautious before any financial transaction takes them for a few thousand pounds.

Ah - The Sun - the paper of record :)

Ah - The Sun - the paper of record :)

Yeah, shame it's not softer, could be put to a much better use then.

The mass killer was said to have lured them to their fates using his taxi radio - because he was seething after a Thai woman "stung" him for thousands of pounds.

does this show the aftershock effect is not just balcony related?

There is nothing about a Thai woman on the BBC website, it just says he visited Thailand with friends.

Also it states it was an argument about a Will.

What a coward. :)

The headlines in some papers are saying he flipped due to being called a mummies boy by co-workers.

sorry, but I dont see this as being Thailand related.

Im sure there are lots of people in the world who have made the news, who have also visited Thailand at some point in their lives, or know and have Thai friends.

still do not make their stories Thailand related to me :)

cheers
