Job description: Sales Director - SMART TRAFFIC LTD

Smart Traffic is a market leader in the exciting growth sector of Digital Marketing. Search Engine Optimisation or SEO is our primary area of business, which we offer directly to our own client base of 700+ companies and resell via partners. We also offer a range of related digital marketing services.

With more than 150 employees worldwide, Smart Traffic is one of the fastest growing companies in the digital marketing arena. We are expanding our Bangkok operations and are looking to recruit a Sales Director for our Bangkok Sales Office.

As sales director, you'll be reporting directly into the MD and be responsible for creating and delivering the company sales strategy, organising and leading multiple sales team managers and have the overall responsibilty for 45 sales people and their associated targets.

You'll play a fundamental role in developing future growth, and provide vision, direction and leadership.

You will be expected to have direct experience in:

• Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.

• Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets

• Acting as an ambassador and role model for your business

• Taking responsibility for profit and loss

• Increasing market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunities.

• Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.

• Provide direction to your department

• Setting sales targets for individual account managers and your team as a whole, according to company guidelines.

• Recruiting and training new account managers.

• Allocating sectors to account managers.

• Developing sales strategies and setting targets.

• Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets.

• Compiling and analysing sales figures.

• Dealing with and supporting some major customer accounts yourself.

• Collecting customer feedback and market research.

• Keeping up to date with products and competitors.

• Contributing to the marketing plan.

Package, Hours and Environment

If you have the experience required and are successful in your application, you will be offered a basic salary between 100,000 and 150,000 THB, a strong OTE to match, as you would expect from such a demanding role. You will be expected to be in the office when your team are in and when the potential UK based business clients are available, so the working hours will be 2pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday. This is an office based role, some travel might be necessary. The office is located in Sukhumvit Soi 63.

Minimum applicant requirements

You'll need proven sales management experience, together with a good record of achieving targets. Degree education preferred, but your experience and track record are going to be considered more important than your formal qualifications.
