June 7, 201016 yr Few quick questions, hoping for input from gamers Right now I live in the US, I will be going to Thailand for study abroad for a while (over a year) and since I am a gamer I want to bring Xbox 360 along with me. Should I bring my US Xbox or just buy a new one in Thailand? How much will one run you? Are the newest games available? I play a lot of CoD and I prefer newer games. Let me know if they are readily available!!!
June 7, 201016 yr There are a lot of games available but they are mostly "back up" versions. Basically, if you want to play online, you can only do so with original games.....If you don't go online, back up games with a moded console.
June 8, 201016 yr You can use your US console but will need a power adaptor or risk nuking your 360. the best way to get hold of legit games on release date, is to buy them online from a store like playasia they will ship to Thailand for free (takes about week) or you can express deliver in 24hrs costs about 600 baht. Note that whilst you have to pay import duty. This is usually about 500 baht or so. They also sell US versions of the games too.
June 8, 201016 yr Author Ah, if they sell US versions that would make things a lot easier. I wont have a lot of time for games because of studys and just generally being in another country, but how likely would it be that they would get the new call of duty game in? Also, will a simple ethernet cable work alright there?
