IBAP Meeting TONIGHT @ Our New Location

Legal Eagles Night, a presentation with Q&A

Program

We are introducing our new venue with one of our most well-attended program topics of the year, LEGAL EAGLES. Panelist representatives from International Law, Tilleke & Gibbins, and Limcharoen Hughes & Glanville will share some first-hand experiences about some of the legal issues for business and land ownership, immigration and other topics, bring along your questions for the Q&A session. Tonight is a great evening to visit IBAP or to introduce IBAP to a friend or associate. Please visit the IBAP website to follow the details about the program.

President's Message & Announcement

Please come and enjoy our new venue for this meeting at the DARA Hotel, located diagonally across the main intersection from Central Festival. Billed as "the most colorful hotel in Phuket" you can't miss it, just look for the most colorful hotel in Phuket. Parking is limited within the hotel grounds itself but is plentiful in the parking area of the adjacent row of shophouse businesses. Additionally a large parking lot will be available from behind the Dara Hotel with an entrance directly into the hotel. We have a map posted on our website. The managing director Khun Katha has worked with our team extensively and we're in for a very pleasing evening. His outstanding "snacks" will be complemented by some wonderful pies by program supporter Susan and her company Lady Pie.

See you this evening,

James Firth

President

This is always a fantastic program! Come out to see it tonight and bring your questions then lets find a place to watch the opening of the world cup.

A good attendance last night but really nothing new to excite potential foreign investment in real estate. The same old merry go round using leases & the worry about all the grey areas in Thai law as to whether or not in future that existing agreements can be enforced. This along with the fact the land office may or may not register something in your name. I hope the management can do something about the oppressive heat in the undercover section of the meeting place if further meetings are to be held there.
