One of two suspects caught following bag snatch involving French Tourist

PATTAYA: -- On Wednesday Afternoon, Pattaya Police received a report from a French Tourist who had just become the victim of a bag snatch. The report was made by Mr. Pierre Viguier aged 65 and Police were able to locate one of two suspects further up Pattaya Beach. Khun Pitakpong aged 34 was in possession of the bag, which contained personal items including cash and the victims’ passport.

They not only target Tourists - they go for Thai's as well. My wife was slammed into the ground from behind and her bag taken, as the thief was picked up by a motorcyclist and sped off. Never caught and a loss of about 11,000 Baht at the time. Just don't walk close to the edge of the footpath with a clutch bag on the outter side, male or female. Common sense. Glad they caught the thieves. Break their hands - works a treat - they can barely hold a pen for life and reminds them of their crime! mad.gif
