30 Day Visa Extension

Featured Replies

Hi everybody.

I was wondering if someone is able to help me. I asked several people but each one has a different answer, so I ought I better ask the experts :)

I have a double entry Tourist visa , (first entry used already) which is about to expire. Can I go to extend it for 30 days in the Immigration in Bangkok? Some people told me I can not do that unless I have another visa. Is that true?

Thanks for your help in advance,

Yes you can do the normal 30 day extension of stay but remember the second entry must be made while the visa itself is valid so you may not be able to use all 30 days of the extension and still be able to use second entry.

Hello and thank you for your answer, really nice.

Sorry my English is not really good I hope I got that right : So I went to Vientiane in Laos, made a double entry Visa. After the first entry expired I went to Cambodia to "activate" the second entry. That is the one that will expire now at the 22 June. If I go to the Immigration tomorrow and ask for 30 day extension it should be no problem or?

Sorry and thanks again for the information,

Cost 1,900 baht and photo but other than that no problem.
