Thai Driving Rules And Regs...

Featured Replies

My Thai GF needs to know the driving rules and regs for her motorbike exam next week. I can find them in English on the Internet, but not in Thai. Any suggestions? My thai girl friend is getting her Thai motorbike license next week. She is a great and careful driver, but I'm afraid she may NOT know the nuts and bolts of Thai driving rules and regs, like how many feet(meters) to be from the vehicle in front of you, braking distance, etc.

I can send her the rules in English, but her English is not good enough to read a somewhat technical series of rules. Where on the internet is there a Thai version of the rules and regs?

Driving rules in this country.:)

Tell her to ask at the place where she has to do the exam. Last time I went to renew my drivers licence, they made me first for one hour read a book about driving rules, standard procedure when making a renewal.

they give you a book to read before the exam

i wouldnt worry to much , no one fails !

Wouldn't the DMV (department of motor vehicles) have a copy? If they don't then there must not be any rules which I don't doubt.

Check most any book store, like SE-ED, there's usually 2-3 smallish paperback books with driving rules and pictures of the traffic signs to study up on. All in Thai.
