I've correctly added 3 email accounts on Outlook 2007, and Windows has successfully processed the "Send" element in "Send/Receive". But all 3 accounts are not loading "Receive" After hours, I still get "Enter network password" It keeps reappearing even after clicking it, and double-checking details. It stops at 75%. I've run Office dynamics checks and all is okay. Any help appreciated.

Does the mail server require encrypted authentication maybe?

Martin

2 are Yahoo pop mail and they loaded okay. The other is a gmail imap account which showed as not having encryption, but was accepted manually.

I guess you already read this one?

Now choose the Advanced tab, and enter the following values (Very important)

  • Incoming Server: 993
  • Incoming Server encrypted connection: SSL

Martin, thanks so much for all your advice. In the meantime, I discovered that Yahoo charge about $12 per year to upgrade to Mail Plus before they allow POP exchange. So, I'm switching to gmail, which works perfectly.
