HI my Thai wife has been in the UK now 1yr on a settlement visa, she is currently studing the life in the uk test book and feels she is ready to attempt to pass the test, as she wouldnt be able to yet apply for the ILR if she were to pass the test, would it still be valid,to apply in 1yr for the ILR. :rolleyes:

I'm fairly certain that it has no period of validity, so if she passes it, you can use the certificate whenever you apply.

It is valid for life.
