Gay Persons Attracted To Ladyboys?

I have seen several references to gay farangs who are attracted to ladyboys. This puzzles me. Ladboys try to look, talk, dress, and act like women. My observation is ladyboy bars exist inside girl bar areas (or bars even mix the two together), not gay bar areas presumably because straight guys are the ones attracted to ladyboys (knowingly or not). I had thought gay persons were attracted just to other guys so someone who was going out of their way to become a girl would place them outside the this realm. So can anyone shed a bit of light on this part of sexuality?

"Gay" is just a label, whereas human sexuality is fluid.

In my case, transitioning from a heterosexual marriage of ten years with children to a completely gay sexuality involved a preference for very effeminate men in the first few years.

Very masculine gay men generated anxiety in me as to what they might require of me in bed and since my early years of gay experiences usually involved sexual expression very simlar to what I had with women, I found less differences to adjust to with ladyboys, although I usually did not appreciate too much makeup nor wigs.

My use of the word ladyboy refers to effeminate men, not transvestites.

I think OP is quite correct in concluding that transvestites or ladybodys in full drag will not attract gay men, perhaps bisexuals or transitioning gays.

^Mostly agree with the above, but it does seem there is a group of guys who ONLY date fully cross-dressing ladyboys... never gay guys or straight women.

I think they fit into another kind of category altogether, though they may be somewhere between "gay" and "straight."

A gay teacher at my former educational gulag, said that he would in principle be interested in ladyboys as long as they were pre-op, so that it gave him 'something to play with'

During the 5 minute inter-lesson interlude it seemed that all teachers ever spoke about was ladyboys, and it had to be done at incredibly fast pace given the brevity of the half-time break, with everyone shouting at once - god only knows what the students thought.

it's called a "penis" .... if the ladyboy has one then the sex is "gay sex" even if the "str8" guys in here would like to see it otherwise.
