I've got friends coming from overseas who of course want me to map out all the strip bars for them. We'll be in the North, Samui and possibly Bangkok. I haven't had a real night out in ages. So my question is, do strip bars even exist anymore and if so, where? From what I can see, its all girls in bikinis waiting for customers, but no stripping. Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

Ummm.... I don't think there's EVER been a strip club in LOS. It goes against social mores, religion and the culture no?.

Strip bars would suggest that they take their clothes of in front of you whereas in many places of ill repute, the girls are already naked when you arrive.

Obviously I have never been to these places, but I heard secondhand that Rawhide and Long Gun in Soi Cowboy have girls who start off with clothes on and take them off all to some decent rock tunes. Not exactly a proper western style strip show, but quite entertaining.

That is something they banned here years ago, but when i first arrived here it was hard to find a gogo bar where the girls had their clothes on. I lived in bkk for more than 13 years the only place you might find it are bars in Pat Pong the ones on the second floor not ground floor. Also not all the time only certain minutes of the hour and not every hour. The bars upstairs are not as nice as the ones on the ground floor either, you need to go look for yourself. Ground floor are almost eye candy kings group etc upstairs you need beer goggles.

That's correct.

Long Gun also has the smoking and balloon shooting show which is quite pathetic specially when the girl misses the balloon and frantically attempts several other shots until the thing pops.
