Great news today my fiancee got her visa granted today. Was abit worried after yesterdays phone call when she got a few questions worng..

Want to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me with my application. :jap: Its very much appreciated.

May I ask how long it took from submission ?

We submitted our application on May 7th so it was just under 2 months, but also the Embassy was shut for nearly 2 weeks during the red shirt riots, So we might have got it quicker if they had not have been shut.

The current waiting times for settlement visas are a joke as they relate to May, when all the trouble was going on in Bangkok.

Settlement Visas 2 days 3 days 5 days 10 days 15 days 30 days 60 days 90 days 120 days Total decisions made

Settlement 3% 3% 4% 4% 5% 7% 99% 100% 100% 213

In a few days we'll have June figures and I expect those to show a vast improvement, though probably still not back to pre riot speeds just yet.
