THAI cooperates with KTB in ticket payment via ATM

BANGKOK (NNT) -- Thai Airways International (THAI) joins hands with Krung Thai Bank (KTB) in launching a new service that allows THAI customers to pay for tickets via ATM.

The new service will allow customers to make payment for domestic flights via any of the 7,011 KTB’s ATM booths nationwide 24 hours a day. KTB will reward customers who use the service with a 200,000-THB-worth accident insurance policy each. The announcement on the latest collaboration between THAI and KTB was made official yesterday.

Customers of THAI and KTB ATM cardholders will receive a 12-digit pay code for every purchase of domestic flight tickets via THAI Contact Center or the THAI website. After they have made the transaction via ATM, customers will receive payment slips as well as details of the e-tickets via mobile phone message. Customoers will have to use the payment slips to claim for boarding pass at any THAI check-in counters at any airports around the country.

The payment via ATM must be made at least 2 days ahead of the traveling day. Customers can book up to 9 seats for a single transaction.
