Thanks for both of you.

Beaches in low season are not swimable and the weather in not so nice.I will have my vacations in August. Both places I'd visited and certainly Phuket is better for accomodation but weather for August is better in Pattaya.

Bambina is right need to pay for travel more. Last year i went to Hua Hin which for 15 days was very boring.

Pattaya is cheaper all around!!! :o

I guess Pattaya is a pretty broad description of the area between Naklua and Najomtien

There are so much nice places outside of Pattaya, with the convenience of having the place nearby!

Shopping is paradise in Pattaya.

Dining out is so amazing it's difficult to describe.

There are great places to hang out for a beer without having to go into Pattaya (Jomtien...)

Great beaches as well, just a 15 minut drive out of town... (Bang Saray for example)

And because there is an oversupply of pretty much everything the prices are just amazingly low as well...
