I find the following quote in a book I'm reading: "ไม่มีทางที่จะรู้ธรรมะ๔เกลอได้"

My question is: can เกลอ be a classifier similar to ข้อ or ประการ? My dictionary translates it as "friends". I think maybe the author is using the term figuratively here to emphasize the close linkage among the four concepts to which he is referring. Is this correct?

I think you are right. I also looked it up in a couple of dictionaries and it only has the entry for friends. However, a look on google has a lot of entries talking about ธรรมะ4เกลอ it definitely comes acroos as a classifier in the things i've read online.

The following paragraph talks about these 4 things, mindfulness, wisdom, awareness and meditation as soulmates, with เกลอ being the classifier for them.

สติ ปัญญา สัมปชัญญะ สมาธิ....
