can anyone experienced pls advice - if i apply and successfully get a 1-yr non imm visa today, when is the last date tht i must get into the Kingdom before the visa is no longer valid any more?

If you are talking about an O-A non immigrant visa; a single entry you have 3 months, a multi entry one year.

The last day that the visa is valid for. The visa stamp will show the day it was issued and the last day that it is valid. If it is issued today July 3 2010 then it will say must be utilized before July 2 2010, if the passport remains valid. Quoting from my visa page in Canadian passport one year ed visa, issued on January 11, 2010 must be utilized before January 10, 2011. If it is a multiple entry visa as is mine.
