Position: Executive Director

Job description: Reporting to theBoard of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the overallmanagement of the organization, for the Association’s strategic development, forthe delivery of programs and services, for the budgeting, for public relations,liaison with EBO Network/Thai authorities/EU institutions/Diplomatic communityand other stakeholders, human resources and Board secretariat. The Executive Director is in charge of the overall managementof the Association’s Secretariat including this non-exhaustive task list:

- Preparation of Board and Assembly meetings andminute

- Handling of allfinancial matters (including yearly/revised budgets, external auditing, staffsalaries and negotiation), reporting to the Treasurer

- Managing theoverall communication and marketing of the Association toward the Members (including membership promotion

activities) andall stakeholders, including media

- Supervision ofall Publications, e-content (includingadvertisement and sales)

TEBA being a newlyregistered association, The E.D. will have to hire anadministrative / PR assistant to second him/her soon after been recruited.

Requirements:

- European based inThailand (preferably holding business/working visa) or Thai national

- Experience insimilar organizations/roles

- Fluent English (secondEuropean language and/or Thai language represent assets)

- Strongcommunication skills with both private and public sector

Remuneration:

- Gross startingsalary: 50,000 THB/ month renegotiable after first 6 months

Minimum salary for most EU countries is 50,000THB per month to qualify for WP. The vacant position needs a qualified person, and nobody with the right qualifications will work for that amount. If of course the official salary is 50,000 THB for WP and taxes, and there is additional payments and/or benefits that are not mentioned it's a different story.
