Hello,

I have held a Retirement Visa for the last 4 years.

I entered Thailand last on the 28th of April this year, and was approved for entry until the 14th of July, which is when when my last (current) Visa expires (tomorrow).

I received a new visa and a multiple entry re-entry permit last week - these are both valid until 14th of July next year.

As the Visa I entered on expires tomorrow, must I now leave and re-enter the Kingdom? Or can I just stay here until 14th July next year?

Any input would be helpful.

Thanks!

If you are talking about a 12 month extension from Immigration (not a visa)which I think you are. You do not have to leave the country. Continue to report to Immigration every 90 days as usual.

The stamp in your passport saying "permitted to stay until" tells you till what date you are legally allowed to stay in Thailand: 14 July 2011. No need to leave the country.
