craigt3365
I thought Breaking Bad was great. Just starting with The Conchords and also just started Burn Notice. Burn Notice is OK, but it is set in Miami Beach...some great scenes!!! And of course 1 1/2 Men and My Name is Earl. Californication is downloading as we speak! lomatopo
Recent shows on BBC which were brilliant: Luther Sherlock Some decent Summer shows: Memphis Beat Covert Affairs Rizzoli & Isles White Collar (S02) Burn Notice (S04 but on annual break until Feb.) Psych (S05) Mad Men (S04) This show just gets better, this last 2 weeks' shows (Waldorf Stories and The Suitcase) were phenomenal. Rubicon (S01) Glacial pace but still quite good. Weeds (S06) Entourage (S07) Sasha Grey has a recurring role. Rescue Me (S06) This show will finish next year, on/about the 10th anniversary of 9/11. I'd strongly recommend Treme, the recently concluded first season show on HBO was fantastic.
craigt3365
I love Mad Men...my wife does not. I think they way the show is setup is amazing. Just like being back in the 50's/60's. Fantastic.

Also Identity was very good with Keeley Hawes.

teatree
Rome - set during the time of Caesar - excellent, highly recommended Spartacus - a bit gratuitous with the bloodshed but gets very interesting towards the 2nd half of the series Benidorm - comedy about holiday makers in Spain Shameless - comedy about a working class Manchester family Arrested Development - US comedy, not really new but not very well known Doc Martin - Gentle drama about a top surgeon who develops a fear of blood and so becomes a village doctor - kind of thing to watch with your GF Merlin - Very much family entertainment in the Doctor Who kind of way but something to watch if you have kids or with your GF Weeds - 1st two seasons were fantastic, about a well off woman whose husband dies and decides to make ends meet by selling weed

teatree
Thanks to those who suggested 'Breaking Bad' - what a great show, best drama I've seen for a long time. For those who don't know, it's about a high school chemistry teacher who discovers he has lung cancer and only a couple of years to live. He needs to pay for treatment and wants to provide for his family after his death and stumbles upon a way of making a lot of money - by cooking crystal meth. I would also second 'Hung' - guy realizes his best asset is that he has a big dick and goes into a business as a male escort. A reasonable comedy I'm watching at the moment is 'Modern Family' - similar to Arrested Development.

Jingthing
Misfits season 2 (UK) just started! Boardwalk Empire (HBO miniseries) still running. It's excellent. Atlantic City in the prohibition era. Real Time with Bill Maher. US left wing political commentary/comedy. Season just ended. DP25
Check out The Walking Dead. Zombie Apocalypse series on AMC, really good so far. Based on a comic book, if they follow the story from that it's going to be amazing. Only 3 episodes in, but has been picked up for a second season already. Also enjoying Boardwalk Empire and Terriers right now. Hope Terriers gets picked up for another season but it's ratings have been bad :/
KarenBravo
A US show I didn't think I'd like, but, got hooked (I'm from the UK). Friday Night Lights.
