webfact Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Ad Carabao, 'Parn' give free concert in Phuket today The Thai-language poster promoting the event. PHUKET: -- Central Festival Phuket and HomeWorks are holding a free concert this afternoon featuring Ad Carabao and RS Promotions recording artist Thanaporn “Parn” Waekprayoon. The Ministry of Culture last July named Parn as Thailand’s best female singer. Mr Carabao’s musical achievements are the stuff of legend, but he is perhaps best known among foreign residents for the song “Welcome to Thailand”, which features the lyrics: Tom, Tom where you go last night? I love Patpong, I love Muang Thai... An expected highlight of the show will be the pair’s rendering of the hit song Noom Bao Saow Parn. The pair will be accompanied on stage by a number of famous actors and actresses. Gates open at 4pm and admission is free.[/img] The Thai-language poster promoting the event. Jimi007 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Great! Post this after the doors are already open. GOOD JOB!
frankman Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Cheers guys, I think it's a bit late to start from KPG to Phuket now...
Captain_Bob Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Even if it was free and happening in my neighborhood tomorrow I'd skip it. Ad Carabao is a strong Thaksin supporter. Thumbs down!

I won't go into it, but you don't know what you're talking about! Do you know him? Do you have friends that know him? Where did you come up with this? Source please?
craigt3365 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 We saw his concert here in Pattaya a few weeks ago. He is fantastic. I would go see him anytime I could!
