Business Trip Overseas On A Single Entry Non B

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a valid single entry Non B visa.

I have to make a business trip to Europe and return before the Visa has expired.

I believe I can get a single re-entry visa - form TM8 - which will allow me travel and return without affecting the Non B visa.

Can I get this at Phuket airport or do I have to travel to the Immigration Office in Phang Nga?

Also do you know the cost of the single re-entry visa?

Thank you

Cost is 1000 Baht.

You apply at the immigration office responsible for the area you live/stay.

Not that it only locks in your current "allowed to stay until" date, you will not get a fresh 90 days when you return!

It is called a re-entry permit and only keeps your current permitted to stay time alive so it might be better to obtain a new visa on your trip if you can qualify. The re-entry permit will cost 1,000 baht and needs to be obtained from the immigration office serving your residence.

Thanks for the reply - I will head to Phang Nga.

When I get back my work permit should be ready to collect so no need for a new Visa - I hope!

But thanks for the feedback.
