THAI launches a campaign to mark National Mother´s Day

BANGKOK (NNT) -- Thai Airways International (THAI) is launching a campaign to commemorate the National Mother's Day with special air fare offered for economy class throughout August – September.

THAI President Piyasawasdi Amaranand stated that the campaign had been launched in honor of HM the Queen on her birthday anniversary on 12 August which would also be marked as the National Mother's Day. THAI has thus launched a project to celebrate the day to promote domestic tourism.

Special economy class air fares will be offered for those traveling from 1 August to 30 September 2010 on the routes between Bangkok and following provinces; Khon Kaen, with the price per person at 3,750 THB; Chiang Mai 4,000 THB/person; Udon Thani 4,000 THB/person; Surat Thani 4,000 THB/person; Ubon Ratchathani 4,250 THB/person; Chiang Rai 4,500 THB/person; Krabi 4,500 THB/person; Phuket 4,500 THB/person and Hat Yai 4,500 THB/person.

Those prices offered for round-trip of an adult,including required charges except airport tax. The reservation under the campaign is required to be made for two seats upward on the same day and flight. The ticket will expire after seven days of traveling date indicated on the boarding pass, while the passenger can not change anything after ticket issuance.
