Are Muay Thai boxing gloves sold at JJ Market? I would like to buy a pair (Fairtex, Twins, Top King, etc). If not at JJ Market, where else are these sold? I don't think Tesco or Big C sells them :)

Best places.

Shop at Lumphini stadium obvious choice.

Or for more choice are the sports shops situated around soi chula.

This is the far side of the National Stadium (behind MBK) easily accessible from the BTS..

Lots of wholesale prices for all sports and clothing.. No haggling as these are shops not markets stalls. so no silly

tourist prices are mentioned.

Football shirts are 150baht each..

Boxing stuff like Twins start around 700 baht and going on up from there...

Cheap gloves from Tesco or Central 400 baht..

Sounds like the National Stadium area is the best. I checked on Google and saw Soi Chulalongkorn. There is Soi Chulalongkorn 5 and 12. Both intersect each other. At the intersection of Soi 7 and 12 (south side of National Stadium) there are some tennis courts and basketball courts. Is that where the sport shops are? Or are they on Soi 5 (west side of National Stadium)?

Thanks

I have been there today, normally i go on Sundays but the same shops were open today as on Sunday so you can go anytime.

Lots and lots of Twins stuff available..all proper stuff and well priced..this is not a tourist area..if it was..it would have closed down along time ago.... meaning you will get the best prices...no bargaining required...

The shop staff have always been very polite to me in all the shops i have gone into..

I am not sure of which soi but the shops are in various sois that intersect so what you have seen on google is where you need to go.... if by taxi..just tell them Soi Chula..MBK...

good luck...

The main soi runs down the side of the National stadium being on the left hand side.....
