Lol. This is Thailand, UK prices mean nothing here. As an example, a new Yamaha R1 is 870,000 Baht here.

Thai Import duties on new motorycles not built in Thailand is generally around 103%. Luxury cars 200-300%. If the registration greenbooks don't show the tax duties paid on page 18, your bike will get confiscated by the police, until said duties are paid plus the fine...fact

How true Judas, I just paid a similar amount for my taxed and legal, second hand Ducati. :)
