Labtops & Mobile Phones

Featured Replies

Hi all

Please can anyone tell me if it's possible to connect a Nokia mobile phone 3310 using pre paid one two call in Thailand to your labtop and connect to the internet.

Also what are the call charges like.

Thanks Vodka

the charges for pre paid 12call are approx 1 baht per minute.

I am not familiar with your model phone , but the three ways to connect a phone to your laptop are :- usb/serial cable ; infra red or bluetooth.

Do a search on the forums for threads discussing GPRS ( Genral Packet Radio System ) as that is what you will be using on your phone to connect to the internet . We have discussed this topic a fair bit in the past 6 months as in some instances it is the only way to connect to the internet for a reasonable cost while in the kingdom.
