Diving In Pattaya+arround

Featured Replies

I found out that I love diving.

But the dive shops take 2.4-3 K for going to an iland to dive there (the cheaper price is if you have the equipment yourself.

If I have the equipment myself isn't there a cheaper way, like rent a fisherman to go with me there and wait?

Has anyone experience?

If i dive twice a week at say 2500, than it is 20.000 Baht.

that means no money for Singha beer anymore :o

that means if I don't buy singha anymore a lot of people from the brewery, wholesale, delivery, supermarket...... will loose their jobs.... :D

Please help

If stopping drinking Singha Beer will have such an effect on these jobs then I would suggest that you refrain from diving as you must never be sober :D

Go on with your Singha routine. You'll find out that you can live without diving.

Safe diving (as you should have learned when getting your license) means you need a buddy... Preferably licensed as a dive master if you're diving in unknown places...

Thats the premium you pay to the dive schools...

Plus, do you know the good diving sites? When to go there, or when to go to another place?

It depends on winds, waves, tides and currents which site will give a good dive and which site a horrible (unsafe) dive...

If you what you write is the way you think, I would say you do not have a diver license yet!

One mistake, and Singha will be the last of your problems (actually, you will not have any problems anymore, ever...)

monty: I made a lot of sport in the past, going mountains in winter alone, going caves alone, making downhill races. I had several broken bones and there are not many places on my body which had never an accident. Several times I was nearly dead and had a serious low body temperature.

And I think I learned my lessons and I am too old to risk something.
