Maccheroncini
Has anyone tried "Snow beef" (googled it but found nothing). I got it from "The Supermarket" in the other day beautifully marbled. I normally buy KU Beef or Ponyangkham but these are new ones. I thought I would try the tougher cut just to prove how these marble of fat would help. It was grilled to medium well done and it wasn't bad. Some toughness still remain but very juicy for that part of beef normally only for stewing or mincing. Next time might try the Kobe when family budget allowed.
wales01
When my brother inlaw was in Chiang Mai for Songkran, I told him when he got back home he should do the following proceudures to make Kobe meat and make us all wealthy: 1) Feed Singha (draught) to the cows. 2) Get the old man to massage the cows tender patrs twice daily. 3) Play soothing music at night just before they go to sleep. 4) Wake them up slowly and gently in the morning remembering not to startle them. 5) Take them for short walks on soft ground on the farm. Here is what happened: 1) Old man fed himself all the draught beer, so he was in no state to massage the cows. 2) Cows stepped on passed out old man. 3) Mother in law massaged old man with a belt. butterisbetter
I tried it. I thought it was kind of tough and not very interesting. And I like tough beef it it's flavorful. I have had the Matsusaka beef which is sold at Rim Ping and that stuff is flat out delicious.
