Airport Free City Line Train

Featured Replies

I read about the free City Line train from Bangkok Su Airport to Phyathai which is on trial, is it on ? My flight arrive at 2200 and depart at 0800, I wonder if I can take it ?

I have not come in for a few months. I remember there are seperate forums for Bangkok and Chiang Mai, has there been changes now ?

Have members been less helpful or am I in the wrong forum ?

It's probably because you haven't given enough information, like when are your travel dates?

They are currently doing pretty frequent test runs, but they are limited.

I think the full service starts later this month, there is already a pretty comprehensive thread running.

The Airport Link train is now free until Aug22. It runs Monday-Friday, 7:00-10:00 and 16:00-19:00. From Aug 23 it will cost 160b/trip (I guess).

Now it's still in trial period. The train will stop at every station from Suvarnabhumi to Phayathai (except for Makhasan station). The train in use is City Line train, not Express Line train.

I travelled on Airport Link 3 days ago and it was great!

Try looking in the Suvarnabhumi Forum, a few down from the Travel Forum.
