"And my brother's back at home with his Beatles and his Stones"

Not a fan of the first, and the Stones are so so to me, never mind, I know exactly what he means.

Living in a tropical climate there's no need to stay indoors, old folks, the sick, the unemployed and unemployable, can sit outside and people- watch the day by. But in colder northern climes too many end up staring at 4 walls.

Walking back to the house not so long ago, my old mate India Daeng had this blasting out, I declined his offer of a few Leos on the porch.

Retrace your steps rgs, with a 250 baht of Regency and a few tracks like this

Regency, LOL, dont drink that nam hom.

Believe me, it gets worse.

As you know Sunday in Thailand is family day, or wan krop kreua, anyway every Sunday he had a party at his house.

the music was blaring out, didnt bother me in the least, what bothered me was the crap that was blaring out from his Back to The 70s CD.

Is this TVs very own bass player here.

Jeez H if the above wasnt bad enough, this is what came next,

Anyway, a couple of weeks later I rocked up at his house with a couple of CCR cds and a couple of John Fogerty dvds, as a way of thanks he handed me his music cd (he is the brother of a very well known Thai singer, the ploblem is, he cant sing) I gave the cd to another friend, lol.

Never mind, he is an excellent guy.

Anyway, just to piss you off, heres another belter form IDs back to the 70s cd, LOL.

Anyone know what Hastings refers to? I think I know but I'm not sure. Thanks

Anyone know what Hastings refers to?

Yes, the clue is in the name of the musical this song comes from, think Chess.

Ya that's what I thought. I googled it and the google reference got the Yul Brenner thing wrong and Hastings is also a well known area of prostitution in a large city but Iceland does not match so I guess it is the chess tournament.
