Buying A Ticket Bkk To Lhr

Featured Replies

I am looking to buy a one way ticket from BKK to LHR about 20th Jan with EVA this is not proving to easy as I am in the UK and I am being told as A UK agent we can not sell you a ticket for that route does anyone know of any agent likely to help

I have a friend who is a travel agent in Thailand. She will provisionally book for you and then you can send her the money by western union or by paypal or someone can drop the money to her shop in Pattaya and she will email you the ticket. always works for me and my wife is travelling from bkk to lhr with EVA on sept 27th. pm me if you want her details.

why use an agent go direct to www.evaair.com ;)

why use an agent go direct to www.evaair.com ;)

Because the agent is cheaper 99% of the time!;)

Expedia Uk and e-bookers will let you book tickets from BKK-LHR or try this site to get a quote Flights . I can't comment on economy fares but my last 3 business class flights out of BKK have been cheaper from this site than any Thai Travel Agent.

Last year I booked on Eva ticket on their website which was unavailable at my local Bangkok agents. It was about 10,000 baht cheaper than normal!

These days it is worth checking the websites directly as I believe some airlines are trying to squeeze out agents so that everybody books on-line, saving the airlines heaps of money.

try www.atninter.com

or

asda holiday

been going backwards and forwards to thailand for 5 years never use agents find direct to airline always cheaper 2 months ago i had to book by telephone to thai air as i wantedx to travel next day and you have to book 72 hours in advance on their website ,anyway so when i rang them the flight was actually 40 quid cheaper over the phone than the qupoted internet price.......................B)

a flight from Amsterdam to BKK in januari 2011 is € 200 cheaper with an agent then from EVA

Its always people who try the cheap way out who scream the loudest when their ticket is not honoured by the airlines.....What on earth are you inquiring about dopey!!!! Its against every airline regulation in the book to buy tickets from the country of arrival and send to country of departure. to save on ROE's. I am amazed any reputable agent would get involved in that nonesense. No airline is obliged to honour a ticket emailed from another country. If you cant afford to buy a proper ticket at home then its best that you dont travel at all.

Here I feel it would be good to explain a bit more. Are you talking about IATA SITI/SITO/SOTO/SOTI rules?

Or do you think the OP is trying to use the ticket in the reverse direction?

Oman Air uses A330-300 on the BKK-Muscat-LHR sector for 19,000 Baht from BKK one way. Your wife can pay 20 dollars and rest at Muscat Airport's Plaza Lounge. The price includes a private toilet and shower (towels provided), light food and drinks, a bed and a comfy couch to relax and wait for her connection flight to London Heathrow. The connection time for September 3rd flight was 6 hours. I hope this helps.

I am sorry, I just realized you were looking for the January 20th flight or so. In that case, they will fly your wife for 21,000 Baht o and the waiting time in Muscat is 3 hours for January 20th flight.
