Suvaranbhumi To Rungsit

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how far it would take to get from Suvarnabhumi to Rungsit by taxi. Thankyou:)

I assume you mean time.

40-60 mins would be my guess.

I live at Don Meuang, so I'm fairly accurate. It of course depends on how heavy the traffic is.

I usually skirt around the edge of Bangkok, and take the Lam Luk Ka turn off.

I'd reckon one hour, via the Eastern Ring Road, Hwy 9, to the "Thanyaburi-Rangsit Interchange." That's at Klong 5, so head west to Rangsit, Future Park is at Klong 1 and the large market just across the Phaholyothin Highway.

FYI, two baht 30 charges on the Eastern Ring Road, you pay.

Believe the Airport Bus #559 runs that same route to Rangsit.

It is around 55 kms from the Airport to Rangsit and as both above suggest the Eastern Ring rd is the pref route depending on where exactly your destination is and what time of day it is.

I agree that it should take you not more than 1 hour but that does really depend on what time of day you travel. Taxi fare should be around 350-370 baht to central Rangsit, excluding tolls.

Thanayaburi Mac knows the situation much better than me but I would just caution that the Rangsit-Nakhon Nahyok rd (from the Eastern Ring rd) is really bad west during the morning peak (and worse heading east in the afternoon) so it may be better to use the Lamlukka exit if your travelling in the morning - your taxi driver should know this.

Or you could take the 555 bus (38 baht) or 555 min-van (40-50b?) from the Transport Center, the later being quicker (both take the expressway to near Din Daeng and then head north up Vihavadi road). Not much use though unless you have little luggage and are going to central Rangsit.
