Thai Caregivers

I am curious as too whether or not elderly men hire caregivers here in Thailand. I am thinking of going that route so I have someone to take care of me for the rest of my life and still have my single freedoms. I feel it is quite possible to do ,but wonder if there are problems when returning to home country with them. And can the caregiver travel with the employer with little problem? When in Canada many of my Hong Kong friends had relatives and friends visit from Hong Kong and they always brought their home caregivers with them. So I wonder if an elderly male has a female caregiver if they can travel around as easily. I am thinking of getting a caregiver and maybe returning to Canada in 4 years and taking her with me. Anybody have any ideas on whether this will be difficult or not.And please donot just post snide remarks about this ok.

I recenlty had one of our customers in one of our rooms fall seriously ill (life and death) a relative came over and he was flown back to his country of origin and on the trip he was escorted by a Thai nurse who had dual nationality for his particular country, so I think they would need dual nationality to do it easily or you will have to go down the work permit in your own country for her to do it??
