MisterMan
So at the bottom of topics I can read a post and then I can recommend on Face Book. But then my name comes up. I never linked the accounts. Spooky. how can I "unlike" this break the connection?
monty
You can recommend, but you can always "unlike" afterwards. It only knows your facebook name on the computer where you are also logged in on facebook with the "keep me logged in" choice on. If you log out of facebook, and you click on one of the "recommend" buttons, a separate window will pop up asking you to log into facebook first... The little script just looks at the cookie facebook leaves on your PC, that's how it knows your name! Edited August 25, 2010 by monty

MisterMan
Spooky! Thanks for the explanation. FB is fun but oh so evil.
sbk
It does that with every site that has a FB like button on it, Misterman, if you are logged in to FB on your computer, and you like something on any site, it will know who you are.
