I think your only chance now is to go to Suan Plu before noon.

Thanks. But I'm in Pattaya. I posted on Bkk page cos I thought I'd get a quicker response, and I did. U.

Have just contacted Airport Immigration and they said they will do it for me there. But if they don't what r my options? on return.

I assume I have to re-apply for marriage visa again? anyone have this expereince?

I've had this happen where i forgot to apply for a re entry permit. If the airport doesn't issue you one, you will have to apply again overseas to keep your spouse visa status.

Holy s-hit, you're joking. I'm off to Burma, should I apply there? if yes what doc's do I need. Thank you in anticapation for your help.

If you leave Thailand without a re-entry visa, your existing marriage visa/extention is cancelled on exit. When you come back you would have to go through the process of getting a new extension.

I have read here on TV that they only issue re-entry permits at the airport in emergency cases. Good luck!

If it's a matter of re-applying for the marriage, well I can live with that. Thanks

You would also have to have a non immigrant visa entry in order to apply for extension of stay. So that would be 2k for that and then 1.9k for the extension of stay unless you obtained a non immigrant visa from Consulate before return.

In any case not the end of the world but not pleasant. Makes most people spend the extra money for a re-entry permit when they extend just in case of a last minute requirement to travel.

Edit: if you get a chance let us know how it turns out as only reports of airport doing previously have been for family death type cases - but very few reports at all.

Moved to Visa section.
