He takes responsibility. I think this is probably something very meaningful for Cuban gays who are now making real progress in their civil rights struggles there. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-11147157 "If someone is responsible, it's me," he said. In the 1960s and 70s, many homosexuals in Cuba were fired, imprisoned or sent to "re-education camps".
