Sorry about that last post,

Reuters - Paris

President Chirac has officially raised the French terror alert level from "RUN" to "HIDE"

There are onlt two higher alert levels in France, "Surrender" and "Collaborate"

The rise was precipitated by a recent fire which destroyed France's white flag factory - effectively crippling their military capability.

Why would the police not press charges against an intoxicated driver.

No wonder its not safe to drive down the roads of Thailand.

This is the Thai system. If the agrieved party in a dispute involving the police does not want to take the matter to court it is handled in house.
