Quick Querry About Uk Visitor Visa

Featured Replies

ok just a quick querry about uk visitor visa application and please no put downs.

Should i put my girlfriends marital status as single or unmarried partner ( me being her partner ) i only ask as she's only planning on a visit of 8 weeks.

I know , probably a really stupid question but i'm thinking if i put unmarried partner it's going to look like she wants to stay longer than the 8 weeks.

Are you living together as a married couple, if so how long for?

We normally advise that, if you live in the UK and your girlfriend lives in Thailand, then put single. If you live together here in Thailand, then put partner.

Thanks , single it will have to be since i'm back in the UK.

We did live together in Thailand but only for 4 months because i had to return to the UK to sort some things out.

Thanks again

In which go with the advice given by Visa Plus and she should put single.

For future reference you need to be able to prove that you have living together for in excess of two years to go down the partner route, unless of course you are married.
