A very unusual morning at Bkk Bnk in the Thai Baht vs US$ x rate.

Changed rates 4 times in less than 2 hours....

Maybe some strange things afoot.

Yes, but that is commonplace. As this morning from Bkk Bnk, it is very unusual.

BOJ intervened because of their strong yen, which skyrocketed the USD/YEN, so this has an impact om most USD pairs.

Looks like it has settled down at 30.45 usd 47.06 gbp and 39.45 eur.

GBP was only 46.2 to the Thai baht this morning at Siam City Bank in Airport Plaza. Big difference from that from 1 month ago when it was just over 50 baht
