rubl
Who was in government during that time in 2007 and who has been in government during and during the aftermath of the other two you mention and also controlling the prosecution of the PAD, or should I say lack of prosecution. I think during the times you mentioned the Dems were not in power, now however they are in power (although god only knows why or how based on the shit performance) and are clearly making sure the PAD issue goes so slow they hope it will just go away, while the red shirts are sat in prison on terrorism charges, but you see no wrong in that? I stand to be corrected During 2007 we had first the junta and later the junta appointed government under K. Surayut. Interesting isn't it, they didn't just lockup reds and throw away the key. The Dem's came to form the current government through the normal political games, like recently in the UK and Australia. As for making sure PAD case progresses slowly, no need, that's normal in Thailand even without political pressure. Funny that a Dem's MP just got sentenced and banned from politics for five years. You think the judicial sysem actually works ? Reds in prison on terrorist charges. Well, bad propaganda that K. Arisman song "I burned it my way"

The reporting till now only suggest the usual political games, the usefulness of receipts and how intelligent people can contradict each other. The Audio CD just given the court should be interesting whether is real or doctored
mca
Black Songkran 2009 and May Mayhem 2010 It's all going a bit WWE isn't it mate? What's next? September Smackdown? Though it would be amusing if Suthep were giving an interview on TV and he grabbed the reporter's mic, ranted a bit and then ripped his shirt off a la Hulk Hogan Edited September 17, 2010 by mca

Arisman song "I burned it my way" / Funny that a Dem's MP just got sentenced and banned from politics for five years I presume that is an example of PAD cases progressing slowly? It appears the case went relatively quickly (filed last year). What I cannot understand is how you conceal debts of approx $6.6m since 1997 and nobody questioned it in all that time The court's verdict came as the National Anti-Corruption Commission November last year filed the case to the court, saying Mr Chumphon had intentionally submitted false assets statement by concealing his debt 13 times since 1997, valued about Bt200 million. Thaksin's 'honest mistake' case in 2001 when he simple forgot to report millions of dollars of shares transferred to domestic staff. He got of lightly with a very controversial 8-7 vote in his favour. To have failed to report THB 200 million debt may be a unique case. At least since 1997 this chap has been consistent Edited September 17, 2010 by rubl

Buchholz
Someone please tell me again how there are not one set of laws for yellow shirts and one set of laws for red shirts !!! I am definitely NOT a supporter of Thaskin and his band of thugs but justice must be seen to be equal. I see today in Ubon Ratchathani they put tire burners in jail but if you seize an international airport and disrupt the important tourist trade you do not even get arrested ? Reconciliation will NEVER happen unless equal treatment for crooks of all types is seen to be fair and just. The judicary wear yellow of course! How does your conspiracy theory explain that the oldest un-prosecuted cases are the Red Riots of 2007? If what you said was true, then the Reds would have all been locked up back then and Black Songkran 2009 and May Mayhem 2010 would have never occurred.... but, then again, what you said is not. I stand to be corrected My post had nothing to do with what government was in power. It was simply to refute the previous poster postulating that the yellows controlled the judiciary, which proved false with my example. If the Democrats which are coming up on 2 years in power controlled the judiciary, why wouldn't they have pushed the judiciary to prosecute the 2007 Red cases to be resolved before now? The reason is because they don't. btw, is it too much to expect that these mayhem cases by either side be prosecuted in chronological order? You complain about the slow progress in the Yellow cases of 2008. The Red cases of 2007 is even slower.
