Tv Members Threatening Other Tv Members

Featured Replies

I haven't experienced this myself, but am guessing that more than a few tv members have been threatened (stupidly IMO, given their only outlet to attempt to intimidate on an anonymous 'expat' forum by fellow members via the PM function).

Are the 'mods. aware of this aberrant behaviour? Surely this 'tightly' 'moderated' forum are able to 'weed' these people out, or suspect who they might be? Or does tv need a truly unbiased :whistling: 'moderator'?

Perhaps a tally of complaints via pm to the 'mods', alongside the given 'niks' might make for a better 'forum' than simply turning a blind eye to these 'hiding behind their monitors pussies? Just a thought.;)

Difficult for us to "weed out" someone who threatens a member via PM as we have no way of reading them. If it happens then a member can either PM a mod or e-mail support [at] thaivisa.com the threat. Easier way is to use the Invite feature to add a mod to the conversation to see directly what is happening. We do take threats seriously and do deal with them when we are made aware of it.

Since this topic started off taking shots at moderation ...
