Good Family Resort

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a rented house or bungalow in a nice resort for 3 weeks in March for my elerly parents(70, 75)and wife and kids(4 and 8). We will be travelling from Bangkok.

I'm thinking of the beach - Phuket,Koh Chang,Samet,Samui,Hua Hin/Cha am, Pattaya????

If anyone can recommend another no-beach place ie Chiang Mai, great.

Has anyone any experience of such a house/bungalow or can suggest where to look I'd be very grateful.

JW Marriot Phuket - Ask for the apartment villa at the beach club Marriot.

Although it is a bit far from everything it is a complete resort with great service.

An idea of your budget would make recommendations easier.

Are your parents OK with the heat? (Cooling breezes/air con needs etc) and are they mobile?

what about nong kai , for a few days .

then follow the mekong down

nakhon phanom , trat , mukdaham .

Hi

koh samed is good - although not a great deal to do for the children "only the usual beach stuff" jet ski, snorkeling, banana, - they might find a bit boring after a while,

a good resort is saikaew beach resort located direct on Saikaew beach has good accommodation with a swimming pool / nice gardens.

for more info on koh samed a great on-line resource for the island is http://kohsamed.net it provides lots of accurate and up-to-date resort info.

where ever you choose have a great trip.

I was at Prinz Garden Villa Hua Hin recently and the families there all looked like they were having a great time
