Software Shops

Featured Replies

Hi y'all,

I usually stock up with a few blockbuster PC games for the rainy season.

However the shop up on the softwarez floor at tuc - com in pattaya is more like a communist supermarket this year.

Where would you go now?

I can get a bus to pattaya / sri racha / bkk.

PS - our choice of games usually need an internet hookup for activation, so we're not interested in pirate stuff.

thanks for any information.:)

Why not use Steam? I got tired with all the pirated games here in Cambodia (problems with support, up-dates, Internet access, etc.) and switched to purchasing my games via Steam. 15+ later and still happy :)

I would also recommend Steam . The price is cheaper and you can get regular patches for the game from Steam and the 50% offers on some good games . Steam is the best option if you want to buy games here.

shriah & hanno,

thanks for the quick replies, good idea using Steam :) with broadband

------but----- I 've used Steam before with the 'Orange Box' compedium two years ago here in rural Thai.

It--- however it * tied* me into all these updates & d'loads and I have a shit connection...:(

swore I'd go shopping after that.hehehe.

Johnnybgood, I live in Cambodia and you cannot believe how slow my Internet connection is. But hey, if it takes 3 days to download, so what? I purchase a new game before I am done with the old one
