Make My Day

Make my day ...

Reminds me of me writing on Thaivisa sometimes.:whistling:

Back when I used to live in the UK and date, I found that one of the many 80/20 rules works in your favour. 80% of guys are too afraid to approach the top 20% of girls. So when you make a move its more often than not, appreciated. Used to joke about how all the munters were getting hit on and it broke enough ice to make things.... interesting!

Self expression ROCKS!! But be careful which bits of yourself you express :unsure:

Funny post OP, thanks.

To Loz, an advocate of the Pareto principle. (Wiki it, - not easy to read but worthwhile staying with it in 80% of the cases), I liked how our hero in the film 'A beautiful Mind' proposed similar logic.

Bahh, all these fancy theories and strategies. Self expression, phooie. Real men don't emote, they convey. There are two tried and true methods to elicit the interest of women;

1. A puppy. Girls can't resist a puppy.

2. A friendly dog that knows how to go and sniff snatch. It allows you to apologize profusely and strike up a conversation.

And any dame that doesn't like dogs isn't worth knowing. B)

Familiar with the PP, Thules. But that does look like an interesting movie. I'll check it out, cheers! ;)

:lol: :lol: :lol:

I had a dog like that once. What you said is true. Funny, but true. Of course a guy has to have the confidence to pull it off. Confident men seem to pull the most women.

Good find, George, and oh so true.

As I said to Geriactrickid.... self confidence allows you to say the right things at the right time..

nope , a good sense of timing does that.

Seen mates not know when to stop talking. its a gift and a curse.

watching from the sidelines as a guy scoops up a honey only to not know when to close the deal and in the end, talk his way back out of it. tragic, but I'm sure it's good for beer sales.

Also true, Loz. I was once that guy who talked too much and UN-convinced the gal that I wasn't the "one". It took a while to learn that lesson. Thankfully, I finally learned in my late teens. Ask the right questions and let the OTHER person do the talking. Of course it's a little different with the ladies of the night. They just want to close the transaction as quickly as possible.
