is there a direct bus from suvarnabhumi airport to ekkamai bus station

what number bus from airport transport centre ? or do i have to go to on nut & change

AFAIK there is no direct bus to Ekkamai from the airport.

If you are trying to get to Pattaya, there are two companies that have buses running directly to Pattaya/Jomtien from the airport. The Bell bus goes only to the North Pattaya bus station. The Blue and White bus goes to Jomtien, but will stop at several points before Jomtien.

The bus I took to Koh Chang left from Ekkamai and stopped at Swampy. The bus I took from Koh Chang back to Bangkok stopped at Swampy before it went to Ekkamai.

So, there's definitely a bus station at the airport, and you might want to check on whether you can just hop onto the bus there instead of going all the way to Ekkamai first.
