Windows 7 System Tray Icons

Have been using Win 7 for many months and the System Tray icons have been tucked away out of sight.. and only visible when clicking on a box...suddenly all the icons are now visible and spread out along the tray. How i do I get the old way back?

Right click on the tray and choose properties. You can choose which icons you want to show on the tool bar and what size the icons are.

Right click on the task bar and select properties.

under the taskbar tab bout half way down you will see "notification area" with a button that says "cunstomize".

Click customize and the botton right untick the box that says "always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar".
