We are interested in learning guitar so as to be able to accompany ourselves singing. We don't want to drop too much on it (or th em, a possible pair). We read here about the Yamaha C70, which the Yamaha store in Chiang Mai says they no longer carry. We read here that the C70 is OK, but this shop had a C40 for 3,500 baht. Anybody know how it is, and how is the price. And they have a C80 for about 6,500.

Suggestions?

I forgot to ask about lessons. How much would they cost, about? And would English be a problem? It would probably be a folk kind of playing, not classical. But maybe the classical would be good for better folk playing.
