Sounds Like *** But Is Spelt *** And Means ***

Hi all,

There a few words that I hear spoken but don't know the right spelling so it makes it hard to find the meaning in Thai.

A few of the Thai words I'm trying to find at the moment sound like:

- tamarai u

- one a tit

A few others I might add later. But if anyone thinks they can help with this it would be appreciated.

If possibly even an example of how to use the words/phrases in a sentence would be helpful.

Tamarai u, means what are you doing ?

example, Q yoo nai, where are you?

A yoo baan, at home.

Q tamarai u? what are you doing?

One a tit, I assume you mean wan aa tit, this is the word for Sunday.

There was a couple of others but I can't remember them at the moment. Will post them when I hear them again.

Have you eaten yet, or have you eaten already?

Sometimes shotened to, gin kaao yang or gin kaao reu yang?

Answer, gin laew, eaten already, or yang, not yet, or yang mai gin

Thanks that helps to fill in a few gaps. Now I just have to try and remember the correct responses.
