Police said the explosives were found at Marble Cemetery in Manhattan around 10.51 a.m. EDT on Monday. A police spokesman said it was not immediately clear what sort of explosives were found, but local media reports said they were C-4 explosives that are also used for demolition work. "The FBI is on scene with the NYPD and the material will be tested and its source investigated," FBI Senior Special Agent Richard Kolko told BNO News, adding that the agency's Joint Terrorism Task Force was at the scene. Both the NYPD as well as the FBI refused to say whether a link to terrorism is being suspected but said there were no blasting caps to detonate the explosives. -- © BNO News All rights reserved 2010-10-
