I can't remember but could have sworn we paid cash a couple of years ago for our visit visa, is this still possible or de we need to do a bank draft?

If you turn up with cash like we did and you don't mind a 25 baht handling charge, there's a branch of the Siam City Bank on the ground floor of Regent House - on the right as you enter - that will issue the cashiers check / bank draft that you need to submit with the application. They even have the table of fees taped to the counter top (left, just inside their front door).

Thanks guys, that must have been what I did last time, anyway I got a cashiers cheque from the bank today.
